The SuScit case study focus on working with low income communities in Islington, North London.

 

Islington has been chosen because it reflects many of the environmental, social and economic challenges facing major urban areas.

 

 

 

 

 

Mayville Community Centre

 

 

 

Local residents have attended the workshops at the Mayville Community Centre to discuss the problems facing their local communities.The workshops brought together the communities, professionals and researchers and provided the grounds for a community lead research agenda.

 

 

The project has facilitated knowledge transfer between citizens and researchers,and created opportunities for further engagement of the community.
