Islington residents, researchers, practitioners and anyone interested in environment and sustainability issues can post comments,thoughts and ideas on the SuScit Blog .

The purpose of the film projects was to allow residents to explore and articulate their own perspectives on their local environment and urban sustainability in a manner which would bring dynamism, creativity
and artistic expression to the subject. Working with Black Country Films (BCF), an experienced group of participatory filmmakers, residents were encouraged to develop and explore their own stories
(experiences; perceptions; aspirations; critiques; and dilemmas) of living in their local community and what the environment and sustainability meant to them. The choice of themes and storylines for the films was very much left for the residents themselves to decide.
